Highland Park Elementary is continually striving for academic excellence, seeking to provide a world-class education to students in its community. As a STEM Magnet school, Highland Park values century skills exhibited through collaboration, dedication, and respect for all.

In addition to the regular education program, Highland Park offers a high quality gifted and talented program and special education program in order to meet the needs of all of our students. In order to shape the whole child, Highland Park also provides education in the areas of music, physical education, and instructional technology.

Throughout the school year, Highland Park utilizes the school action plan as a means to focus efforts toward improving student achievement.  While there is still work to be done on raising student achievement, Highland Park staff and students are working hard to make gains in academic growth.
